This course will provide students with an understanding of the roles of ideation and innovation in the opportunity recognition and value creation process. Students will develop skills in identifying new venture business ideas and products using creativity, ideation, and design thinking, leading to the development of viable business models and prototypes supported by market and business research. Students learn how ideas can inspire and promote problem-solving Students will use tools such as the business model canvas, free mobile app/website development tools, and explainer boards.
