Description
Each course has been designed so that the CDA credential competencies will be demonstrated through hands on assignments, enabling each student to build the required portfolio as progress is made towards the CDA Certificate. For students intending to obtain the credential at the completion of the courses, the CDA Professional Resource File consists of 17 resource items that relate to the candidate's work. The Resource Collection includes written competency statements and the candidate's autobiography. The candidates receive assistance through a variety of experiences to help them develop and revise their portfolio of resources for young children and families. All assignments given throughout the four courses are compiled to create the final Professional Resource File required for the CDA credential.
