This course will focus on creating new ventures where the business concept is built around a technical advancement either in an operational process, or in the application of technology to create a new product or service. It will bridge the gap between technical competence and entrepreneurial ventures. Students will explore the applications of business fundamentals and entrepreneurial concepts of innovativeness, risk-taking and pro-activeness in the creation of profitable technology-based new ventures.
